Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Spotlight Session

About this event

OCD is a condition that is often hidden, frequently misunderstood, and sometimes misrepresented.  In this Spotlight Session, Clinical Psychologist Dr Amy Talbot will unpack the realities of living with OCD, separating myths from evidence-based facts.

She will explore how OCD can show up in faith communities, the ways church environments and practices can sometimes hinder recovery. We will also look at some practical steps churches can take to create safe, informed spaces for those affected.

Whether you are experiencing OCD yourself, supporting someone who is, or seeking to gain a deeper understanding of the condition, this session will offer clarity, compassion, and hope.

Tickets are $5 per person (to help cover our group livestream booking cost).
Tea, coffee, and light refreshments provided.

No need to RSVP - just turn up!
